The following are the different types of applications that exist:
Draft Plan of Condominium / Subdivision
Create new lots, blocks and roads through the creation of a Registered Plan.
Land Division
Propose to create new lot(s), lot line adjustment, permanent easement, long-term lease, and/or title correction.
Minor Variance
Propose additional land use(s) which are not currently permitted by the Town’s Zoning By-law, and/or amend specific zone provisions, which is: minor in nature, desirable for the appropriate development or use of the land, and generally in keeping with the intent and purpose of the Town's Official Plan and Zoning By-law.
Official Plan Amendment
Propose to change a land use designation, and/or propose an Area Specific policy for a proposal that is not currently permitted by the Town’s Official Plan and/or a Town-initiated study.
Site Plan
Review detailed layout drawings to ensure that the proposed development meets standards and policies of the Town.
Site Plan Amendment
Review detailed layout drawings to ensure that proposed amendments to an existing Site Plan approval meets standards and policies of the Town.
Zoning By-law Amendment
Propose additional land use(s) which are not currently permitted by the Town’s Zoning By-law, and/or amend specific zone provisions.
Part Lot Control
Create new lots on registered Blocks within an existing Plan of Subdivision through the passing of a By-law.
